Defensive
Driving Courses
A
comprehensive course giving the information required for drivers to
avoid collisions and near misses.
There
were 3,172 road traffic fatalities in 2006, according to Home Office
figures. The Health and Safety Executive estimate that about a third
of these involve people at work.
By
training their drivers, organisations can work on promoting a safe driving
culture. There is a key relationship between safety culture, driver
attitudes and accidents. (Bomel 2004)
